What's more stunning than BEACH??
But not just any beach... we headed to one of the most iconic beaches in Northern California. Point Reyes National Seashore in Marin County is one of the most noteworthy spots along the northern coast. Marin County Weddings are some of the best - Point Reyes taking the lead on an ideal destination.
Starting at Drakes Beach for some grassy shots by the waves and ending at Chimney Rock for those iconic cliffside coastal views, it did not disappoint. Film and digital engagement photos at Point Reyes with magical results.
A warning - this location isn't for everyone.
This particular part of the coast is a bit out of the way - an hour outside of any cell phone service or town - it is truly remote! AND windy. Very very windy... especially up at Chimney Rock. But honestly? That's part of the magic. It's untouched, undeveloped, and blustery, creating the most magical windswept photos. Point Reyes is one of the few preserved places - maintaining the natural magic that the coast offers.
Depending on the time of year, Point Reyes is filled with wildlife, wildflowers, beaches, AND cliffside views.
It literally has it all. My personal favorite? The tall whispers of grass that line the beaches.

As a coastal wedding photographer, I've seen my share of beaches and I'm very familiar with the North Coast... Point Reyes is one of the locations I'd reccommend most. It's worth the drive.
