There are little to no places in the WORLD that could stand against the beauty found at Shasta Mountain. Up, up, up in the most northern parts of this strangely tall state(California) lies this tall, proud beautiful mountain. đ She watches over the town Shasta, causing everyone to stop in awe of her on their way in.
Fun fact: did you know that California is over 800 miles long?? đ˛ Thatâs almost 13 hours of driving and youâd STILL be in the same state. (I mean.. itâs California so who wouldnât be happy about that?đđ) On one end, you get sunny San Diego beaches and the gorgeous Mojave Desert (check out Joshua Tree elopements!). On the other end? Shasta. â¨â¨â¨â¨
This is where W+A spent their day, adventuring and playing in one of Californiaâs most beautiful playgrounds. And I was invited. đ
They started the day with coffee on the mountain... Standing up there, right at sunrise? WOW. It literally took my breath away. I was immediately obsessed with capturing the blue mountain range behind them, savoring their flirtatious joy, and watching as these two took in the day.
I made sure all the details were handled so these two could just pause and embrace the moment. đŤśđť It was awesome to see them rise to the occasion and fully participate, not getting the lost in the logistics.
Then, they went ahead and went down to the water! đś After being on Mount Shasta, it was a joy to back up and see her in her full glory from a new perspective.
W+A had spent a good amount of time going on dates together at the lake. So, of course, they wanted to make sure they included it on this special day. đ They hopped in a canoe and went adventuring together on the water as they remained under the cover of that beautiful mountain.
After that, W+A went home and got ready for the big finale. đđ Makeup done, packs ready.. they hiked up another hillside in order to catch sunset and say hello to forever together.đ It was the perfect ending to an amazing elopement day. This was a Shasta elopement in itâs fullest form.
They had dinner together, exchanged vows, and celebrated in the biggest way that a couple can!
They ALSO held out and hiked back in the dark đ so we could also capture some amazing photos at night too. Lamps came out and the hike down in the cool of the night was absolutely marvelous after a full day together.
This adventure elopement was a DREAM and I canât wait to do more. If you are hesitating at all, DONâT. Shasta is a dream elopement location. There are endless possibilities and gorgeous places in this part of the state. I highly encourage you to say yes and to bring me with you! đ
